Chéri Alfajores (“Chéri,” “we,” “us”) is a home bakery in Orlando, Florida. This policy explains what information cherialfajores.com collects, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
What we collect
What you give us. When you send an order request or a message, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number and Instagram username, if you provide them
- How you’d like us to contact you
- The items you select, your preferred pickup date, and any notes you add, including allergy information or gift messages you choose to share
Collected automatically. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited to deliver and protect the site. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie to block bots. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without tracking you across other websites.
We don’t use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and we never collect payment card details on this site. Payment is arranged directly with you by Venmo, Zelle, or cash.
How we use it
- To reply to your request, confirm your order, and arrange pickup, delivery, and payment
- To take any allergies or special instructions you share into account
- To answer your questions
- To keep the site secure and working
We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t send marketing emails.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run the site for us:
- Web3Forms delivers your form submission to our inbox
- Cloudflare hosts and protects the website
- Our email provider stores the messages we receive
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep order requests and messages for up to 24 months so we can follow up on orders and remember your preferences. After that, we delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.
Your choices
Send us a message through our contact form (choose “Privacy or data request”) or message us on Instagram at @cheri_alfajores to ask what information we have about you, or to correct or delete it. We’ll respond within 30 days.
Children
This site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
